Malaysian consumers have yet again voted Dutch Lady as their preferred brand of milk products, winning the company its ninth consecutive Reader's Digest SuperBrands Gold Award. This win is the latest in Dutch Lady's unbroken record since Reader's Digest Asia first organised this annual survey in 1999.

The primary objective of the Reader's Digest SuperBrands survey is to identify brands, from across 41 product categories, that Asian consumers find most appealing. Respondents of the survey name, unprompted, their most preferred brand for categories ranging from lifestyle products to daily necessities, encompassing such diverse services and items as insurance, gas stations and soups. According to the organisers, brands that "managed to ascend to the SuperBrands niche represent the recognition of outstanding quality accredited by the end users at large, and at the same time, reflect the consumers' choice among the varieties."
The secret of Dutch Lady's success in this survey is perhaps no secret at all.
